She decided to start her own Facebook breast cancer support group called "Finding Humor After Breast Cancer," which focuses solely on humor. Today, thousands of breast cancer patients and survivors around the world visit the group daily to support one another through jokes, memes, and sometimes irreverent stories that give them the fortitude to keep fighting.

Founded more than 120 years ago in New Castle, Pennsylvania, Cascade Park was once called "the most beautiful pleasure resort in Western Pennsylvania," with thousands of visitors riding the rides and picnicking near its beautiful waterfall each year. Now a refurbished and thriving nature park, remnants of Cascade Park's past remain and remind visitors of its storied history and cherished place within New Castle's community.
