Season 1: Pilot Episode

In three short years, I, as a middle-aged woman, have done the following: 1) moved from my own solitary home in the city to my love's 100-year-old farmhouse in the country; 2) left my normal, full-time job to become a voice actor; and 3) survived breast cancer. In my new life, which is anything but routine, I invite you to join me in focusing on the positive and the good - the people, places, and things that, in such a negative world, are also anything but routine.

Season 1 Episode 2: Life Is Too Short

How did I go from being settled in a routine, stable, full-time job with a boss to reinventing myself as an entrepreneur and launching a whole new career?  And have you been wanting to do the same thing?  Listen to my story, and then get out there and do it!  Life is too short!

Season 1 Episode 3: Stupid Cancer

In October of 2018, after a routine mammogram, I was unexpectedly diagnosed with breast cancer.  My top priority - after beating it - was making sure people realized I was still a person and not a cancer patient.

Season 1 Episode 4: Write It Down

Meet Jim Gindlesperger, a Johnstown, Pennsylvania retiree who turned a passion for history into a writing career!  In today's episode, I'll share what he did before his first book, what he's done since, and what he's doing next, with a special emphasis on his study of Arlington National Cemetery.

Season 1 Bonus Interview

In his own words, Jim Gindlesperger shares the backstory on the research and writing of several of his books, including "Arlington: A Color Guide to America's Most Famous Cemetery."

Season 1 Episode 5: Officers and Gentlemen

Meet Thomas Davis - retired Army, one wife, two daughters, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, attributes his 102 years to the good Lord, and believed to be the oldest surviving guard of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.

Season 1 Episode 6: Remember When?

Let's explore history today!  We're going back in time to a tragic event that tested the resolve of a small town and brought out the best in its people.

Season 1 Episode 7: Sunshine With Paws

Meet Jeff Bunk and Wendy Cernansky, and their respective therapy dogs, Eli and Malachi.  Not only do they bring joy to school kids, hospital patients, and others, but they're planning to aid and comfort those in need throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania through their new organization: the Pennsylvania K9 Crisis Response Team.
